So You Want To Be A Doctor?
On 23rd November 2017, some of our Sixth Form students had the opportunity to spend a day at Brunel University to find out more about becoming a doctor.
Dr Ray Lowry, a dually qualified medical doctor and dentist and senior lecturer in public health medicine since 2012, who also now runs a consultancy in public health medicine, shared his knowledge with the students via workshops, group discussions and presentations. The students also had a chance to speak with undergraduate medical students.
They found the visit very beneficial and learnt a lot about the profession they would like to pursue.
