    What is the UK Youth Parliament?

    Run by young people for young people, The UK Youth Parliament (UKYP) provides opportunities for 11-18 year-olds to use their voice in creative ways to bring about social change. The UKYP is made up of over 300 MYPs (Members of Youth Parliament), who are elected by their peers in youth elections throughout the UK. Any young person aged 11-18 can stand or vote.

  • Hillingdon Borough Indoor Athletics Competition

    On 1st February, students from Years 7 and 8 took part in competitive athletics events at Swakeleys School for the Hillingdon Borough Indoor Athletics Competition. Events included: sprinting; long distance running; relays and field events.

     

    Students performed fantastically well and made the school PROUD.

    A number of Uxbridge High students represented Hillingdon at the Middlesex Schools' Cross Country Championships at Harrow School on Thursday 26th January 2017. In freezing conditions, competitors raced against hundreds of the best runners from Middlesex in the U13, U15, U17 & U19 age groups, running distances from 2.1km for U13 girls, right through to 6.6km for U19 boys.

    Any decision would be taken after careful risk assessment, including a safe student/staff supervision ratio, the safety of the premises and travel arrangements.
